ED Awards Gold for Piquentum Brut Nature

The label created by the wine itself has been awarded Gold at the European Design Awards in the Wine Packaging category.

The Piquentum Brut Nature project has been awarded Gold at the European Design Awards, one of Europe’s most prestigious recognitions in the field of communication design. The award was given in the Wine Packaging category and marks the seventh ED recognition for Studio Sonda.

The project was developed through the concept Label created by the wine itself, exploring the possibility of a label becoming direct evidence of the product’s own creation process. More about the project is available here: https://www.sonda.hr/work/label-created-by-the-wine-itself/.

This recognition follows a series of international successes for the project, including the ADC Gold Cube and The One Show Merit Award received during NY Creative Week in New York, as well as four Gold awards at the Dani komunikacija festival in Rovinj.

About the European Design Awards

The European Design Awards are annual recognitions presented by an international jury composed of editors and critics from leading European design publications. The awards celebrate outstanding achievements in communication design and are organized by specialized design media from across Europe, with the support of the International Council of Design. The awards ceremony took place on June 13 in Sofia. As we were unable to attend the event, we submitted a video acceptance speech to the organizers on the occasion of the award.
