Want to design the new Klara Marić pasta?

Applications are open for a new edition of the Sonda Designed by People program, this time in collaboration with Klara Marić, Croatia’s largest producer of traditional Istrian pasta. Alongside the other participants in our program, guided by mentors from Studio Sonda, you’ll have the chance to help develop the creative concept for a new pasta shape, name and design that will end up on tables across Croatia and beyond.

The program runs from October to November, through weekly afternoon workshops at our Sonda Creative Center in Vižinada, Istria.

Become part of the next chapter of a family that has made pasta with love for almost 40 years. We recognize pasta not just by its taste, but by its shape – the kind that reminds us of grandmothers and mothers who once kneaded it by hand. That’s the feeling Klara Marić has preserved since 1987; they still roll their pasta today rather than pressing it through molds, so it doesn’t lose its lightness and that distinctive, handmade character.
