Piquentum Brut Nature wins a Red Dot Award

Twenty-second Red Dot Award for Sonda and another international recognition for Piquentum

Label created by the wine itself, developed for Piquentum Brut Nature, has won a Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious accolades in communication design. The award recognizes projects distinguished by outstanding design quality, creative execution, and communication effectiveness, and is judged by an independent international panel of experts. The official award ceremony will take place on 6 November in Berlin.

The project starts from the idea that the label should not be just a part of the packaging, but a physical proof of the product itself. Through the concept Label created by the wine itself, the sediment created during the sparkling wine production process is transformed into the primary material for the label, resulting in a unique packaging solution that literally emerges from the making of the wine. This marks Studio Sonda’s 22nd Red Dot Award. The recognition for Piquentum Brut Nature continues the project’s successful international award journey throughout 2026, which also includes an ADC Gold Cube, The One Show Merit Award, Gold at the European Design Awards, a Cannes Lions shortlist, and four Gold awards at the Dani Komunikacija festival in Rovinj.
