[RECAP] Atelier Pelikula celebration

An evening of film, conversation, and new perspectives. Our Creative Centre filled up last week for the closing celebration of Atelier Pelikula.

The evening opened with a short panel in which the mentors and participants shared the story behind the project – the creative process, the experience of working across three different communities, and what it means to tell a story that matters. Then came the screening: films exploring themes of identity, migration, inclusion, and sustainability, each carrying a distinct personal voice, the result of months of work under the mentorship of Davor Sanvincenti, Maša Drndić, and Massimo Mucchiut.

Guests got to meet the young filmmakers, watch all their final works, and congratulate them as they received certificates of completion.

The conversations that followed the screening went long into the evening – proof, if any were needed, that film still has the power to move people and give young voices the space they deserve.

The project was funded under the KA-210-YOU Small-Scale Partnerships programme, approved by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, and co-financed by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme.
