Exhibition: photographs by people with disabilities

The Sonda Creative Centre hosted an exhibition of photographs created during a photography workshop for people with Down syndrome.

The opening took place on Saturday, 21 May at 14:00, with the exhibition remaining open to the public free of charge for the following week.

The portraits on display were made during a workshop led by Sonda’s creative directors, Sean Poropat and Jelena Fiškuš. The initiative was recognised and supported by the Association of Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities “Hoću-Mogu” from Pazin, and the DADI Centre for children and young people with Down syndrome from Padua.

The project aimed to share the basics of photography with participants while also creating opportunities for connection, personal development, and active leisure for people with developmental disabilities.
