On the power of Creativity

Our posters, from the early days to today, on permanent display in Vižinada

Some of our most compelling work grew out of long-term collaborations that unfolded over many years. The posters for the Casanova Festival of Love and Erotica, the Booktiga fair of used books, and Pula Film Festival were never single projects. Each new edition built on memory, experience, and what came before – the same idea seen from a different angle, inhabited by a new concept, a new meaning.

The posters on display have won awards at some of the world’s most recognized creative and design festivals – from Cannes to Red Dot – and were created for local festivals, Istrian brands, and cultural projects that put Istria on the international design map. 

Studio Sonda began in 2004 and over more than two decades we built a body of work that proves one thing: the size of a place does not determine the reach of an idea. The work on these walls is also where this center began. The belief that creativity can come from anywhere, and reach anywhere, is what led us to build it – and it is still what drives everything we do here today.
