[CALL] Find out all about the film workshops

An info event about the workshops of the Atelier Pelikula project.

We invite young people from the local community and surrounding rural areas – this is your chance to learn everything about the project, ask questions, and find out how you can get involved. Join us on Monday, 16 December at 6 PM at the Sonda Creative Center in Vižinada.

What can you expect?

• an overview of the film workshop programme;
• a conversation with mentor Davor Sanvincenti about the project’s themes and goals;
• information on how to apply and participate.

What is Atelier Pelikula?

Atelier Pelikula is an international project funded through the Erasmus+ programme, designed for young people aged 16 to 25. The project aims to encourage creative expression and support young people from diverse social and economic backgrounds in Croatia and Italy through the art of film.

The workshops will be led by Davor Sanvincenti, a multimedia artist, and will include:

• theoretical and practical filmmaking work;
• mentorship and guest lectures by film professionals;
• work on topics such as the environment, human rights, and social inclusion;
• screening of participants’ own films at festivals in the region and beyond.

The workshops will run over approximately ten weeks, twice a week in a relaxed atmosphere, and the final works will be true little masterpieces. The workshops are free of charge and no prior experience is required.

Applications are open until 31 December 2024 for young people from Istria aged 16 to 25, via the link below.

We encourage you to attend the event to get all the information you need and meet the organizers. Applications are also possible independently of attending the event.
