Such a non-profit festival, like this Fair of Used Books (organized by the City Library Poreč), is usually shadowed by other more popular, more commercial, and more attended events.

Since Booktiga promotes the value of using secondhand, it seemed logical not to buy ad space but to use the ones occupied by more profitable events
Banners were made to be applied around the edges of posters that were already put up, thus framing them and creating a sort of visual margin.

In this way the festival speaks up about its position regarding other events, not wanting to annul nor cover them, but simply becoming its integral part, the margin of the central event. The margins have always been a spot where important things are highlighted…
The whole work is to be treated like a poster because the banner gains its real function only in correlation with an already existing poster.
