A monograph entitled Artistic Heritage of Istrian churches – sculpture from 4th to 13th century is the first in a series of editions exploring religious art on the Poreč-Pula territory
The edition distributed by the Poreč-Pula diocese plans to process through its six editions themes like sculpture, painting, and architecture of Istrian churches.
This edition editor, Ivan Matejčić Ph.D, gives a clear, systematic review of sculpture in Istria from the 4th to the 13th century.
Photos are made by Živko Bašić and Ivo Puniš while the publication is printed in Croatian and Italian language.
