The poet’s words are packed and weighed in kilos, playing with the allusion to everyday consumerism, which has become today almost the only form of communication a modern man understands.

The Istrian dialect term “doprta butiga” translated as “open store” is used when someone has an open pants zipper.
The collection is called “Closed on Sundays”, but the zipper of the poet’s pants (the poster represents a realistic portrait of the author) is actually opened, as a symbol of an open store.

The fact is that poets have no Sundays, no matter how much they would want it.
