[CALL] ABCs of Design – join us this autumn

This autumn we’re opening spots for new groups, and we’re genuinely looking forward to new faces. If you’re a kindergarten or school interested in visiting us in September, get in touch – we’d love to arrange a date and tell you what to expect.

ABCs of Design is a programme that shows children and young people that design is all around them, and that they can understand it, use it, and create with it. The workshops are thematically designed and adapted to different age groups, from preschool through primary to secondary school, introducing participants to the fundamentals of design through a creative process and hands-on work.

At our Creative Center we have explored packaging design, ecology and nature, logo design, camera obscura, and kaleidoscope making – and this year we also discussed creativity, layout, and poster design. Every group brings its own energy, and every time we’re surprised all over again.

The programme has been running since 2022 in collaboration with the Croatian Designers Association, which founded it in 2009, and is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
